Hi Parents!
Here is what we
did today!
In library we went to our Makerspace room.
We did ozobots. We checked out books. (James, Parker, and Aiden)
We did math. We did Counters in a Cup.

We did Fundations. We did Echo the Owl. We
built sentences with the word frames. (Abby)
I was the teacher assistant today. (Kent)
We did an experiment. We are testing out if
the wind can blow things or cannot blow things. We are using a hair dryer.

There are only 31 days left in
Kindergarten. (Evalynn)
We did writing. In writing we had to finish
our book of what we are good at and our 4th grade buddy letter. And after that
we got to write another note to whoever we wanted! (Aster) We
wrote encouraging letters to our 4th grade buddies as they prepare
for their MAP tests!
We did Daily 5. (Alice)
We did poem. We had to highlight the word
wall words. There was not a word of the week. (Caroline)
We had outside recess. (Will C.)
Lots of stuff
coming home today including behavior reports, reading bags, extra paper books
to keep at home, important notes about upcoming events, etc. Please look these
over! Have your student read the books in the reading bag to you over the
weekend and return these books in the bag on Monday. If your child didn’t
return their reading bag then they do not have one coming home today.
