Here is what we did today!

We did days in school. We have been in school 66 days. (Nick)

We had art. We made a self-portrait like an artist named Frieda. (Elizabeth)

We got a new writing folder! We could write about any memory! (Mila and Lexi)

We did Fundations. We did the letter j. (Addison and Evie)

We did math. We played a game called Collect 10 together. We flipped over cards. The number it was we take that many cubes and put it in a cubes train. (Yahna)

We did read aloud. We read Don’t Let the Pigeon Stay Up Late. (Evie)

We had Daily 5. (Brendan)

We watched a movie about needs and wants. We talked about needs and wants on the smartboard. You need water to live. There was a genie in the video. (Abigail and Anders)

Mrs. Cockrell will be here tomorrow. Auggie has his 6 month shots! I will be back on Thursday.

We read Don’t Let the Pigeon Drive the Bus. (Yahna)

We are learning about needs and wants. A need is something you need to live. A want means you don’t need it to live but it’s nice to have. (Addison and Anders)

We did a needs and wants poem. We wrote some needs and wants on the poem. We wrote we want a car and toys! (Abigail)

Mrs. Zapata came. We tried green eggs and ham. It was from the protein group. (Eshan and Pricila)

We made a project with our 3rd grade buddies. It was a turkey. (Brendan)

We did writing. We learned about protein. (Mila)

We had library. We did ST math and Pebble Go. (Bennett)

We read a book Who Will Carve the Turkey This Thanksgiving? (Sophia)

We did days in school. (Elizabeth)

We talked about the protein group. Bacon and fish are in the protein group. (Kiernan)

We sorted pictures of food. (Nick)

We did calendar. (Sophia)

We did the poem. It was called I am Thankful. (Abigail)

We also added another poem to our poetry folders and highlighted the word “go” on the poem!

Book Fair Hours

Monday, November 7- fair will be open from 3:30-6:00

Tuesday, November 8-Closed all day

Wednesday, November 9 and Thursday, November 10-the book fair will be open during lunch from 10:30-1:30 so students who bring money can shop during their recess.  Please remind them about taxes that we have to add on to the price of the books. (please let me know if your student plans on doing this)

Wednesday, November 9-3:30-6:00

Thursday, November 10-3:30-7:00

Friday, November 11-8:00-10:00
