Here is what we
did today!
It is Rose’s birthday today! We sang happy
birthday to Rose and she brought cookies! (Evalynn and Aster)
We read Mercy Watson Goes for a Ride.

Parker was the teacher assistant. (James)
We had art. For art we painted our
dinosaurs. (Abby)
We will read Mercy Watson Fight Crime
tomorrow. (Aiden)
We put our painted rocks outside. (Parker)
We did an assembly. The choir sang. (Maya)
We did poem. It was called My Mom. (Aster)
We did Fundations. We did tapping. (Rylan)
We did whiteboards at morning meeting.

We are going to have play time. (Kent)
Our class earned
another set of 100 Cougar Compliments! To celebrate, the class voted to have
another “Bring Your Favorite Toy to School” party! We will be doing this TOMORROW
(May 10th). Each student can bring one small toy to school on this
day. This could be a board game, small bag of legos or blocks, an action
figure, a doll, stuffed animal, toy car, etc. No toy weapons please! Students
can bring an electronic toy (such as a DS or small tablet) if the sound can be
turned off or headphones can be plugged in. Please make sure it is fully
charged or has new batteries. Please do not send valuable electronic toys
because these toys will be unsupervised at times (recess, specials, etc.)
Students will have the opportunity to play with these items at specific points
in the school day. They will only be allowed to play with the toy in the
classroom setting (not bus line, etc.) Please let me know if you have any
