Hi Parents!

Here is what we did today:

We went to the Planetarium and we learned about space. It was a round place. We got to paint the sky with magic paint. There was a ball thing in the middle that made stars. We learned about stars making figures in the sky like Leo the Lion and the Hunter. Those are called constellations! We got to watch a movie and we turned off the lights and it felt like we were moving. (Sophia and Andrew and Connor)

We did snack. (Layla)

We did a craft. We made a sun. We painted it with orange and yellow. We learned that the sun is a star! It gives us light and heat. (Sophia and Kate and Layla)

We played Counters in a Cup with 6 cubes. Last time we played with 5. We couldn’t peak. We wrote our thinking down. It was fun! (Sylus)

We did Daily 5. (Evan)

We went to music. We watched a video. (Malai)

Spirit Day tomorrow is to wear red!

If you can, please make sure your child has a snack in his or her backpack each day. We have noticed a lot of kids without snacks. Thanks!!
