Hi Parents!

Sadly, we ran out of time for closing meeting today! Today, we started 2 new Fundations letters: p and j! We wrote about our weekends for Monday News. We talked a lot of safety and ways we can be safe in our neighborhoods, cars, parks, school, bus, etc. We read a new poem about safety and read a book called Safety Counts! We also watched a short informational video on ways we can be safe. We have been working hard during Daily 5 and learned our last 2 Word Work games! We discussed different ways we can represent the number 2 in math. For example, we talked about 2 tally marks, second place, 2 o’clock, 2 friends, 2 on a dice, etc.

Friday is our fall celebration with books! Kids are welcome to dress up as their favorite book character! If you signed up to read on Friday, I will be contacting you shortly! I am waiting to hear back from a couple parents before I can finalize times. Thanks so much!

Please read over the behavior updates tonight and return them tomorrow in your child’s folder with your initials and comments! Sorry for the mistake on Friday! Please return the Parent Teacher Conference scheduling form as soon as you can. Thanks!!!
