Hi Parents!
Here is what we
did today!
At math we did calculators. (Rylan)
We had our toy party. (Azayla and Aiden)
For writing, Grayson got to make the cover
of our book. We wrote about memories. (Abby)
We are going to have project. We get a
book. We get to trace the words and color what’s inside and outside of our
bodies. (Aster)
At music today we played Doggie Doggie
Where’s Your Bone. We had to sit in a chair and Mr. Walker had a picture on the
Smartboard and we had to look at it and not around the room. (Caroline)
We did word games. (James)
We did a word family. (Parker)
We did Daily 5. We did one choice.

At lunch we got all of our bows on our kite
so we got to listen to music. (Rylan)
We had an assembly. Kennedy got Cougar of
the Month. (Hayden)
We did read aloud. We read My Body. (Maya)
We did Fundations. We did -ck. (Adalynn)
We did poem. Our word of the week is “yes”.
We highlighted our word of the week. (Abby and Aster)
We are eating snack. (Parker)
HyVee and Tiger
Bounce field trip is April 19th! A note will come home after Spring
Break.
5th Annual Mill
Creek Color Run/Walk will be May 3rd- 3:45-4:15. (Rain Date May 10th)
Cost-$10 per
participant (includes T-shirt). Must register by April 19th. No late
registrations accepted.
Students 2nd grade
and younger must have a parent present for the Run/Walk.
Forms will be sent
home on April 5th and can found on the school website.
Community Service
for April- Emergency Bags for Those in Need- (Collection items)
Toothbrushes,
toothpaste, Shampoo/conditioner, deodorant, body wash or soap, wet wipes,
tissues, mouthwash, sunscreen (all items should be travel size). More info to
come!
