Hi Parents!

Here is what we did today!

We had music. We did Carnival of the Animals. We are on the swan. She showed us the lion song. Next time we are going to play a game and sing. (Maggie)

We had read aloud. We finished Mercy Watson Thinks like a Pig. We met a new character. Her name is Francine Poulet. She is an animal control officer. She tried to catch Mercy. (Elizabeth)

We did writing. For writing we wrote why we wanted to swing or slide. (Kayleigh)

We had Daily 5. We did 2 choices. (Brendan)

We had math. We played a different version of Go Fish. You had to make 10. You have a deck of cards and what you do is when you find a combination of 10 you set the cards down. (Kiernan)

We had Fundations. For Fundations we did some more blends of st and sc. We got to guess what was in the tub. Also Mrs. Hotchkiss put those in our Word Work games. We also talked about bossy R. Bossy R takes over the vowel sound. They are ar, er, ir, or, and ur. It makes a different sound. (Sophia)
