Parents!
Here
is what we did today:
We
did writing. We wrote in our weather book. (Andrew)
We
did Fundations. For Fundations we did our big cards and little cards and the
vowel chart. And we played a game. We played Bingo. We covered up word wall
words. (Kate)
We
did our poem. It was called April Rain. (Kymiah)
We
did math. For math we played Apple Boxes. We had cubes and a partner. We
colored in the apples. We did combinations of 5. (Sophia)
We
did Daily 5. (Layla)
For
morning job we did math workstations. (Lyrik)
We
read the book called Rain. It gives us facts about rain. And we shared about
our favorite thing to do when it rains. (Ginger)
We
checked 2 cups of water. We checked the temperature of the water. One was
inside and one was outside. It was rainy today really hard. The temperature
changed. We had to skip count by 2’s on the thermometer. The one outside was
colder. When it is colder the temperature goes down. (Sophia and Kate)
We
did music. (James)
It
was the 150th day of school! (Connor)
Lots
of announcements!
There
is a PTA meeting tonight night at 6:30 pm!
Wednesday
(tomorrow) is an Early Release Day for teacher professional development.
Please have arrangements for your child to be picked up at 12:50 pm.
Please let us know if there is a change in transportation for this day ASAP!
Wednesday
(tomorrow) is also Secretary’s day! Please have your child bring in one
flower for our special bouquet on Wednesday!
The
Color Run is Friday! The last day to sign and still get a t-shirt is
Wednesday!
Pull
tabs are
due Friday as well!
