Hi Parents!

Here is what we did today:

We did writing. We did something new. We wrote what we can do to help our Earth. You can pick up trash, use less water or electricity, or use both sides of paper. And we got to color a picture to go with it. (Evan)

We did art. What we did for art was buildings that had faces on a piece of paper. The artist’s first name was James. (Andrew)

We did math. We had a piece of paper and cards and bears and 2 dice. We played Up and Down the Ladder. The first person had to roll 2 dice and put bears on the bottom and top of the bunk bed. Then the other person flipped a card to move up or down the ladder. (Kate and Kymiah)

We did Daily 5. (Layla)

We had read aloud. We read Why Should I Recycle. We ate our snack. (Jayden)

We did Fundations. For Fundations we did our big cards and little cards and vowel chart. We did tapping. We tapped long vowel sounds. When 2 vowels a walking the first one does the talking. Some words had the silent e. We wrote words on our whiteboards. We used the small lines. (Sophia)

We did our poem. Our poem was called It Is Spring. (Dylan)
