Hi Parents!

Here is what we did today:

We did math. For math we played double compare. We had different cards. There were number cards with little pictures so we could count. How you play it is first you have to mix your cards up and deal them out. Then you flip up 2 cards. Whoever has the bigger number says me! (Sophia)

We made a project. It was a little chick. You get a white piece of paper and you paint the egg yellow. Then you get the beak and then you put the eyes on with paint or googley eyes. Then you put the brown egg over it and tear part so you see part of the chick hatching out of the egg. (Evan)

We did our poem. We did Daily 5. We only had 1 choice. (Dylan)

We did writing. We wrote in our chick journals and we also put a hen in our journals. We labeled parts of the hen and colored it. (Andrew)

Today we did library. We did it kind of different. We went into the lab and watched a video then read a book. Then we got on the computer and played games and then we went outside the lab and got a book. Then we went back in the lab and finished our games. (Sylus)

We did counselor. We talked about different jobs. You could ride your bike for a job and cook. (Kate)

We pet the chicks. (Lyrik) Check out Twitter for awesome pictures from today and yesterday! J
