Here is what we did today!

We wrote in our writing folders. (Randy)

We got a list of family words in our folders. (Riley)

We did Quick Eyes. (Blair)

We played Grab and Count with a partner. We had to guess more than 5 or less than 5. (Cordae and Livi)

Izzy came to read to us. (Lexie T.)

Piper came to read to us. (Rilen)

We did inside recess in the trailers. (Kate)

We did Fundations. We did our Fundations boards. (Adeline)

We echoed s and d with Echo the Owl. (Lexi B.)

We read a counting book called The Leaves are Falling One by One. (Anna)

We did Listening to Reading. (Aidin)

We had Quiet Time. (Riley)

We did Morning Buzz. (Zain)

Picture retakes will be TOMORROW. Please return your child’s picture packet in the daily folder if he or she will be participating in picture retakes!

Student Council Announcements/ Community Service Projects:

*Make a Difference Week! Food Drive for the Central Mo. Food Bank is this week Oct. 13-17^th! Please donate non-perishable food items in the bins in the commons.

*Heavenly Hats will be Friday, October 17^th! Please bring $1 or more to your room if you want to wear a hat! Proceeds will benefit The Heavenly Hats Foundation. This foundation collects and distributes brand new hats of all kinds to those heroes of all ages who lose their hair due to the treatment of cancer or the many other medical conditions which may cause hair loss.

*SPIRIT LEARNING DAY! OCTOBER 24TH MU HOMECOMING! WEAR BLACK AND GOLD!
