Here is what we did today!

We did writing. We did the protein group. We did our protein page. (Cora and Caleb)

We did the assembly. Mr. Miles got pied in the face! Mrs. Rawlings and Miss Henry did too! (Logan)

Presley got Cougar of the Month. (George)

We did closing meeting. (Lux)

We made turkey hats! (Zellie)

We had pictures of foods. We sorted them into the food groups. (Avie and Leo)

We had our healthy food feast! (Jackson)

We did Fundations. We did Starfall. We built some words. (Cora)

At Fundations, we played Bingo using letter sounds. (Caleb)

We had art. We traced the pattern blocks. We made it into an imaginary animal. (Presley and Sophie)

Today we did the weather. (Avie)

We made wreaths. We wrote things we are thankful for. (Jackson)

We ate snack and did math workstations. (Cora)

In math we drew things to show the number that Mrs. Hotchkiss gave us. (Phoebe)

Mrs. Hotchkiss read Twas the Night Before Thanksgiving. (Ellen)

We had word games. (Logan)

Today Leo was the teacher assistant. (Jesse)

We did the calendar. (Presley)

Here is what we did today!

We made yogurt sundaes. There were blueberries, yogurt, and granola. (Logan)

We did math. We put the cubes somewhere that Mrs. Hotchkiss said. We played Simon Says. (Leo) We talked about positional words (left, right, between, below, above, etc.)

We did library checkout. (Cora)

Today the 65th day of school. We put another stick in the chart. It is Friday. (Presley)

We did the Friday song. (Zellie)

We reviewed letters in Fundations. We wrote on our whiteboards. We had to guess the word wall word. (Caleb, George, and Avie)

We had music. (Jackson)

We did a Thanksgiving Dinner book. We put it in our book box. (Ellen and Lux)

We did closing meeting. (Lux)

We did writing. We wrote about dairy foods. (Evie)

We recorded the weather. It was at the freezing temperature. If we put a glass of water outside it would freeze. (Sarah)

We ate snack. (Phoebe)

Don’t forget to turn in the cut out foods from each food group homework on Monday (directions attached)! We will be having our healthy food feast on Tuesday!

This month’s book orders are due by Friday, December 6th! If you would like to purchase books for the holidays just let me know and I can hide them until you are ready to pick them up from the office or my room. I typically just send home book orders in backpacks when they come but I am happy to hide them if needed for gifts. Please let me know if you have any questions!

Here is what we did today!

We tried sweet peppers. If we ate the whole thing we got a point! (Cora)

We read a giant book called Eat Your Vegetables. (Caleb)

Mrs. Baker came and she read a book. We made little people that were different than us. (Jackson)

We had counselor. (Presley)

We learned about the vegetables group. For writing we wrote about vegetables in our Good Foods Book. We drew our favorite vegetables. (Phoebe, Sophie, Logan, and Presley)

We had word games. We did a game where Mrs. Hotchkiss changed the beginning sound but the ending stayed the same. (Avie)

We went to our math workstation. For math we measured stuff that was longer and shorter than a marker. (Cora)

We had P.E. (Evie)

We had blacktop recess at lunch recess. (Sarah)
