Hi Parents!

Here is what we did today!

We did P.E. We threw balls and tried to catch them. It was like a tag game. If you are tagged, you get to do 10 jumping jacks. (James and Abby)

We did read aloud. We read The Snowy Day. We talked about how rereading books is good for our brains.  (Adalynn, Evalynn, and Aster)

Evalynn was our teacher helper. (Azayla)

We did math. We played 10 Bears on a Bus. (Hayden)

We did Daily 5. (Rose and Azayla)

We did Fundations. We did our magnet boards. (Maya)

We did writing. We did our Peter book. We wrote about when he smacked the snow-covered tree. (Parker)

We did poem. We read the poem “Winter”. Our word is “to”. Some kids got to pick actions to spell the word. (Caroline)

In project we made a little book. Our book was called “On a Snowy Day, I can…” (Aster)

We did the days in school. We have been in school 87 days. Only 13 more days until 100. (Maya)

We did math workstations. (Will C.)

All of the snow activity items and 100 day snack sign ups from yesterday are filled! Thank you so much for being so willing to help! I really appreciate it!!

There will be a sub in the classroom from 8:30-10:30 am and from 2:20-3 pm so I can pull for assessments. Please let me know early in the day if there is a change in transportation. Thanks!
