Hi Parents!

Here is what we did today!

We went to music. We played a game outside. It was like tag. We also did iPads and board games. We had our free day! (Madelynn, Dempsey, and Carmel Grace)

We went to the Snowball Shop. We got lots of stuff there! (Russell)

We did math. We played Fill the Hexagons. You find a way to fill the hexagons up with pattern block shapes like triangles, trapezoids, hexagons, and rhombuses. (Ismael and Joshua)

We did math workstations. (Ismael)

We had fun in music. (Amane)

We did the weather. We look out the window and see if it sunny, cloudy, rainy, snowy, foggy, or partly cloudy. We do tally marks for each kind. We make a graph. We mark the temperature on the thermometer. (Joshua)

We did Fundations. We did the letter h and we wrote it our notebooks. (Maclyn)

We did writing. We also worked on our surprise for our parents. (Isaac and Emma)

We did the calendar. (Wilson)

We read The Gingerbread Girl. She tricked the fox! (Brooklynn) I put an optional writing activity in your child’s folder today. Encourage your child to stretch out their words on their own!

We are doing closing meeting and snack. (Xander)

We did days in school. (Britt)

Next Tuesday, we will be building snow forts, snowmen, and/or snowflakes out of marshmallows and toothpicks! If you would like to donate a bag of marshmallows (any size, preferably smaller) or a box of toothpicks, we would appreciate it! We will need lots of supplies for this fun project. Please let me know if you can help. Thanks!!

Have a great night!
