Hi Parents!

Here is what we did today!

We did our poem. It was called He Ran Away. Our word this week is “he”. (Sophia)

We had P.E. (Elizabeth)

Today we had a kindness bracelet. (Kiernan)   Our school has recently begun a “Kindness Revolution”. We are working together to help each other be kind, as well as showing others we notice their kindness. Your child may soon come home wearing a rubber bracelet. These are a vital part of our kindness campaign. When a child notices another Mill Creek student being kind, they pass their bracelet along and at school will write their name on a slip of paper. These paper strips will be turned into a chain that is going to be hung up in the hallway between the office and the library. We are hoping to show how far kindness can spread! Please help us by having your child bring their bracelet back to school if they come home wearing one and talk to them about what they did to get their bracelet. We can’t wait to show how kind Mill Creek is!

We had Fundations. We did the letter k. (Andy)

We had Daily 5. (Mila and Addison)

We did calendar and days in school. (Nick)

We read The Gingerbread Boy. (Brendan)

For math we played Roll and Cover. We had to roll 2 dice and we had to count how many and the number you have you put on the gingerbread. (Sophia)

Tomorrow we are going to bake a Gingerbread Man! (Abigail)
