Parents!
Here
is what we did today:
We
did our poem. The poem is called It is Spring. It had some cool pictures in it
like flowers and a sun. (Lyrik)
We
did P.E. We had a pacer test. We got to play a game with balls called Bocce
Ball. At the end of each game we got to run out and get a ball. We finally got
to play in the real gym! (Mikayla and Connor)
We
did writing. Writing was our Monday News. It was fun! (Andrew)
For
Fundations we did our big cards and little cards. We did tapping. We sorted
long –i and short –i. We got to add words on the back. (Kate)
We
did Daily 5. (Layla)
We
did snack. We read a book called Do You Know Which One Will Grow? It had
pictures of things that don’t grow like a watch. (James)
Our
project was about seeds. We put soil in a cup and poked holes. We put a handful
of seeds in the cup and then Miss Tappana poured water in the cup. (Sylus)
We
did math. For math we read The Sleepover. The kids played tricks. They were
moving between the top and bottoms bunks. (Dylan)
We
did recess. (Lyrik)
REMINDERS:
-Please
have your child bring back his/her bag of reading group books so that he/she
has books to read for Daily 5!
-Please
returned signed behavior updates as soon as you can!
-Book
orders are due this week! Here is the link to order the books online: http://orders.scholastic.com/H2MBR If you order books
online, our class earns points! The points will be spent on books for the
children to keep or new classroom library books for the children to read at school!
-Tomorrow
is library so please make sure your child brings his/her book to school!
We
watched a new episode in the Class Dojo series. We watched Series 2 Episode 2.

of the video and it will also benefit his/her comprehension by discussing the
video after viewing.

learns from Ms. Clara and Mojo how to become a better artist.
1. What should you do when you make a mistake?
2. What will happen if you continue to repeat
this process? Try using
the word "neuron" in your
explanation!
3. So how do we escape the dip? Give a real
life example (even
better,
an example from your own experience).
Earth
Day Homework! Please have your child
bring in ONE CLEAN item that can be recycled (detergent bottle, soda
bottle/can, aluminum can, glass jar, magazine, newspaper, paper, plastic water
bottle, small cardboard box, cereal boxes, pasta box, etc.). Please make sure
the plastic items are labeled 1-7! We will be using these on Earth Day which is
Friday, April 22nd!
