Hi Parents!

Here is what we did today!

We voted on a party because we reached 100 Cougar Compliments. The party we are going to do is the dessert party. Miss Tappana is going to bring BB-8. (Layla) We will be doing this event next Wednesday! I will be sending out a Google Doc if you would like to sign up to bring a dish!

We did math. We played Up and Down the Ladder. We had a bunk bed and dice and bears. We had to roll the dice. We had to say the number sentence. Then the next person had to go down or up. (Kate) The kids practiced saying _+_=_ using the numbers on the dice!

We did Daily 5. We got to do 2 choices since it was Monday. (Connor)

We did writing. What we did for writing was our Monday News. 4 people got to share. (Andrew)

We did something new. We wrote in our Weather Book. We circled what the weather looks like outside. We learned this new word called precipitation. It means rain or hail or snow. We checked to see the wind if there was lots of wind, some wind, or no wind. (Sophia) We will be recording the weather all week and talking about different types of weather!

We did snack. (Evan)

Lots of announcements!

Our published books are coming home today! They look great! If you would like to order one there is still time! I put forms in the folders with information on how to do this.  

There is a PTA meeting tomorrow night at 6:30 pm!

Wednesday is an Early Release Day for teacher professional development. Please have arrangements for your child to be picked up at 12:50 pm. Please let us know if there is a change in transportation for this day ASAP!

Wednesday is also Secretaries day! Please have your child bring in one flower for our special bouquet on Wednesday!

The Color Run is Friday! The last day to sign and still get a t-shirt is Wednesday!

Pull tabs are due Friday as well!
