Hi Parents!

Here is what we did today!

We did music. We had our free day! There was a substitute. We watched some Mary Poppins. (Brooklynn)

We did a craft. We made a flower how it grows. Flowers are living things. They need air, food, water, sunlight, and soil. (Isaac)

We had a guest reader. Her name was Adeline. She read a book called The Day the Crayons Came Home. (Maclyn)

We did morning meeting. I did the days in school. We have been in school 159 days. There are 13 days left in school. (Xander)

We did Daily 5. Everyone got to pick 2 choices that they didn’t get to do yesterday. (Ismael)

We did math. We learned about 2 types of coins. It was the nickel and the quarter. There was a song that counted by 25’s. We also reviewed the 2 we did a long time ago. It was the penny and the dime. We got to see the picture of the half dollar. It is bigger than the quarter. We will learn more about money in first grade. (Dempsey)

We did read aloud. We read about plants growing. We read 2 books. One was called How Does Your Salad Grow and the other was called Seeds Grow. (Carmel Grace)
