Hi Parents!

Here is what we did today!!

We did morning meeting. (Xander)

We got new Mercy Watson books! We had 6 different books and we got one of them to take home. (Carmel Grace) This is my end of the year gift to the kids!

We went to cafeteria and watched the 5th grade choir singers. We got to hear them sing. We got to sing some of our songs for a practice. We got to sing two songs. (Brooklynn)

We had a toast party! Mercy Watson loves hot buttered toast with a great deal of butter on it. You could have jelly, butter, or plain toast. Most kids had toast with butter. We had a toast paper where you could draw your favorite kind. We got to do a Mercy Watson word search. (Isaac)

Mrs. Hotchkiss dressed up as Mercy Watson! She was in a Mercy Watson outfit when she picked us up from lunch and recess! It was a dress, pink tail, tiara, ears, and pig nose. It was from Mercy Watson Princess in Disguise. We knew it was her because we saw her brown hair. She said she was the real Mercy Watson. She said Mercy Watson was going to come and it was Mrs. Hotchkiss! (Maclyn)

We did art. We did a game where you draw stuff that Mr. Gwinner tells you to. And we had free draw. (Madelynn)

We did writing. We did a paper of what was our favorite Mercy Watson book. We would say what was our favorite part and we would draw our favorite part. (Emma)

We did Daily 5. It was one choice. (Blake and Britt)

Today is AJ’s last day. (Dempsey)

There are lots of great pictures up on Class Dojo! We were able to finish the last 2 Mercy Watson books today! They had a lot of fun!
