Here is what we
did today!
We read the book The Mitten. (James)
I am the teacher helper. (Azayla)
We did Makerspace. We had to make tracks.
We had a little robot and it only went on the black lines. We had to color in
the white and squares. (Caroline)
We had art. We got our clay pinch pots
back. We painted on it. (Will M. and Evalynn)
We had Fundations. We did the big cards and
the little cards. We did the vowel chart. (Hayden)
We did the calendar. (Henry)
We did morning meeting. (Abby)
We are having snack and are about to have
play time. (Evalynn)
We did math workstations. (Will C.)
We did Daily 5. (Adalynn)
We did project. We did a book about The
Mitten. (Caroline)
We did poem. It was called My Missing
Mitten. Our word of the week is “it”. (Xander, Aster, and Henry)
We did writing. We wrote about the best
thing about Kindergarten so far. (Maya and Grayson)
Mrs. Richardson came. (Parker)
Attached is a February
calendar. This is also coming home today. Our 100th day of school
will be Thursday since there is no school tomorrow. Make sure your student brings
in their 100th day collection on Thursday!
I have also
attached a tentative Parent Teacher Conference schedule for the last week of
February. I kept the same day of the week and time as the fall conference. If
you need a change please let me know ASAP. If your name is not on the schedule,
I will be contacting you to pick a day and time! Thanks!
