Hi Parents!

Here is what we did today!

We did math. We played Part Whole Bingo. We had a different partner. You have 2 dice and you roll the dice and whatever 2 numbers you get you fill up the tower or you can split it up. If you can’t fill the whole tower you have to roll again. (Yahna)

We read a book called Leprechaun on the Loose. Tomorrow is St. Patrick’s Day! And that is why we read it! (Sophia)

We had snack and closing meeting. (Nick and Kayleigh)

We had Fundations and we practiced writing on our Fundations boards capital W and X. (Elizabeth)

We had Daily 5. We did 2 choices. Yahna taught Kayleigh how to do Listening to Reading. We are going to do 2nd choice after closing meeting and snack. (Maggie, Sophia, and Yahna)

We had morning meeting. We got white boards. We said “Today we have music class.” On the whiteboards we had to find the wrong things that Mrs. Hotchkiss did. We found all of them! We had math workstations. (Anders)

We did writing. We made a list of How To book ideas. (Kiernan)

We had lunch and recess. (Mila)

We did our poem called Big, Bad, Cold. Kids came up to point to the words. We talked about using word parts to help us read. (Andy and Evie)

We had music. We have been working on a musical. Soon we are going to go up on a stage and we have parts and we all get to do a song together. (Sophia)

We did the calendar and days in school. (Mila)
