Hi Parents!

Here is what we did today!

We did music. We had a turtle race. We were playing a song while the turtle raced. It made a do do do sound at the end. If another turtle went too late or too early you were out. We worked on songs for a play. We made a line and spoke into a pretend microphone. (Nick)

We had Daily 5. (Brendan and Serenity)

We did math workstations. (Serenity)

We did Fundations. We wrote the letters S and T. (Landon and Serenity)

We did math. We did our combinations of 6. We put all our combinations into a class book. It will go in the classroom library. (Sophia)

We did lunch and recess. (Landon)

We did writing. We shared our special books. (Madison) We worked very hard on these personal narrative stories! They are coming home today!

We had closing meeting and snack and hopefully some play time. (Anders)

We watched Franklin and the Tooth Fairy. (Abigail)

We had morning meeting. We did white boards. We wrote “It might snow tomorrow”. Mrs. Hotchkiss made mistakes and we had to write it the right way on our boards. (Sophia)

A social growth and work habits behavior report is coming home today! Please initial and return on Monday.

Reading bags are coming home today as well! Please have your child read these books to you over the weekend and return them on Monday!
