Here is what we did today!
We
did math. We played Grab and Count. (Abigail and Andy)
We
had library. We did ST math on the computer. (Elizabeth)
We
did our last page of our One and Only Me book. It was about our favorite toy.
We read our book to a friend. (Nick)
We
did recess and lunch. (Kiernan)
We
did our rules. (Mila)
We
read Pumpkin, Pumpkin. We put the pictures in order. (Addison)
For
Fundations we did magnet boards. (Eshan)
We
got to pick a book from the classroom library for our book box. We got to pick
from green dot or orange dot. (Sophia) Book from home
We
did calendar. We have been in school for 39 days. (Yahna)
We
are having snack. (Evie)
Field Trip Reminders!!!
TOMORROW Friday, October 14th, Kindergarten will
be going on a field trip to Peach Tree Farms. We will be leaving the school at
9:30 a.m. and returning to school by 1:00 p.m. While we are there your child
will go through a hay maze, feed and pet animals, and go on a hayride to pick a
pumpkin. We will be eating lunch there
so your child will need to bring a lunch from home or a sack lunch from school.
Please do not send your child’s lunch box. Paper/plastic sacks work best as
they can be thrown away. Please send your child in appropriate clothing. We
would suggest jeans/pants, tennis shoes, and a jacket/coat (depending on the
weather). Parents are welcome to join us on the trip. Parents will need to
provide their own transportation to the pumpkin patch. Parents must also pay a
$5 entry fee into the pumpkin patch (Thank you if you have already paid). The
students’ fees are being covered by the Mill Creek PTA.
Parent Teacher Conferences and Behavior Updates
Tomorrow in your child’s folder you will find an
important form to fill out about Parent Teacher Conferences. Please return this
ASAP! You will also find information about behavior updates that I will be
sending home next week. Thank you!
