Here is what we did today!
Ms.
Cathy picked us up from music. (Sophia)

had a free day in music class. (Nick and Evie)

got new classroom jobs. (Elizabeth)

had my birthday snack. (Maggie)

made a fire chief hat because we learned about firefighters. (Bennett)

did Fundations. We learned about the letter i. (Brynn)

did Monday News. (Mila and Evie)
We
did math. We played a game where you rolled dice and what number you get you
cover it up with a counter. (Yahna)
We
watched a video about firefighters. (Madison)
We
did lunch and recess. (Kiernan)
We
read a book about firefighters. (Lexi)
We
watched a video on Class Dojo about being in other people’s shoes. (Nick) We talked about empathy!
We
did closing meeting and snack. (Abigail)

are going to have some play time. (Landon)

This Wednesday is an early release day (12:50 pm).
Please let me know if your child has a change in transportation.

Celebration With Books
Friday,

Your child may wear a costume to school (book
characters encouraged)
No masks, scary make-up, wigs, weapons or
props--anything that could be a distraction.
The costume must be something that can be worn all
day. Tennis shoes are encouraged.
Since the focus is on reading your child can bring
a favorite book or two from home as well as a small stuffed animal (it needs to
be able to fit in the backpack).
Parents are invited to come and read to small
groups of kids from 12:30-1:00. I will send home a paper this week for you to
sign up.
A craft activity and snack will follow from
1:00-1:30.
