Hi Parents!

Here is what we did today!

We made scarecrows. It was from the story about the little old lady who was not afraid! We put on the pants, the shirt, the pumpkin head, shoes, gloves, and the hat. (Lyrik)

In art class we did 3 creepy vegetables. We read a creepy carrots book. (Ginger and Dylan)

It is Jayden’s birthday. (Evan)

We did Daily 5 and math workstations. (Jayden)

For writing we did our writing folders. We talked about how writing time feels, what it looks like, and what it sounds like. (Andrew)

We did Fundations. We learned a and g. We did sky writing. We wrote the letter on the Fundations white boards. We had a little warm up time. (Owen, Mikayla, and James)

For morning job we got to color the parts of the scarecrow. (Sophia)

We did our poem about the little old lady who was not afraid of anything. Our word this week is “at”. (Kate)

Sophia led us in the class rules. (Malai)

We did indoor recess 1st and then we went outside for lunch recess. (Evan)

For snack Mrs. Hotchkiss read us a Halloween book. (Connor)
