Hi Parents!

Here is what we did today!

We made Valentine’s bags with stickers. Everyone passed out their Valentine’s. (Azayla)

We are going to have a Valentine’s party after Art. (Adalynn and Maya)

We did the rules. (Parker)

We did math workstations. (James)

We went to see our 4th grade buddies. We made hearts. (Will M.)

We are going to have Art. (Abby)

We did a brain break. (Evalynn)

In math we had 3 pieces of paper and some candy. We sorted on one, counted and colored one, and we colored on the graph how many of each color candy we had. We got to eat the candy! (Aster)

For read aloud we read The Valentine Bears. (Caroline)

We had outside recess! (Rose)

We did poem. For poem we highlighted the word “you”. (Hayden)

We did morning meeting. (Kent)

Evalynn was the teacher assistant. It is Valentine’s Day! (Aster)

Thank you to all the families who came or helped with the party! The kids had a great time! It was such a fun day!

In the folder you will find a behavior update and some fun (optional) Valentine’s activities. This includes a mini book that they can color and keep at home to read to you!

Next week we will be talking about money in math! If you can, please send in a baggie with a few pennies, nickels, dimes, and quarters.
