Hi Parents!

Here is what we did today!

We did music. We read a book. (Carmel Grace)

Mrs. Zapata came today. We taught us about vegetables. We got to try cucumbers, peppers, and rutabaga. (Russell)

We are doing closing meeting and snack. (Xander)

We practiced drawing on our whiteboards with the book. (Brooklynn) We are working on being illustrators! I used the book Follow the Directions and Draw It All by Yourself. The kids learned how to draw a house, car, person, birthday cake, and tree.

Ms. Dana came and helped us make yogurt parfaits. (Joshua)

We did Daily 5. (Britt)

We did calendar. (Wilson)

We did Fundations. We learned about the letter e and we also did the little cards and the big cards and even the vowel chart. We also did the Fundations notebooks. (AJ and Dempsey)

In math we talked about our numbers papers and how they were different and how they were the same. (Maclyn) The kids had to show a number in 4 different ways. For example, if they were given the number 6, they could draw 6 on a dice, 6 tally marks, 6 on a tens frame, and 6 flowers.

We did a fire drill. (Emma)

We did the weather. (Wilson)

We did math workstations. (Ismael)
