Hi Parents!
Here is what we
did today!!
We went to art. We drew lines. (Brooklynn)
We did Maclyn’s Me Bag. (Madelynn)
We played outside and ate lunch. (Sky)
We did morning buzz and we talked about our
favorite book. (Blake and Dempsey)
Wilson’s sister, Ila Rose and her friend,
Adeline came to read to us. They read a dinosaur book about staying friends.

We did name poster. (Maclyn)
We picked out a book to put in our book
boxes for Read to Self. (Brooklynn)
We talked about taking care of books.

We did the calendar and the schedule.

We did our poem. It is called “I Can”.

We did math. We sorted how many kids are 5
and how many are 6. (Erin)
We read “My Mouth is a Volcano”. It was
about interrupting. (Madelynn and Dempsey)

Save the date for
our curriculum night open house! This
will be September 21st from
4:30-6 pm! I will be providing a math scavenger hunt for you and your child!
They will be able to show you around the room and help you learn about our new
math curriculum. Please bring your student with you!! The Kindergarten team
will not be doing presentations like the older grades.
