Hi Parents!

Here is what we did today!!

We did Fundations. For Fundations we wrote the letters U and V. (Kate)

We did Daily 5 with one choice. (Anna)

We did math. For math we played in the heart and out of the heart. We dropped 10 counters and had to count how many fell in and how many were out. (Lexie T.) They used a recording sheet to write down the combinations of 10!

We had our 3rd grade buddies come and we made Valentine heart bags. We paired up with the buddies to make bags. (Brock, Adeline, and Livi)

We had a fire drill. (Kamri)

We read Franklin’s Valentine. (Blair)

We went to music. We listened to Play It Mr. Toot. (Aidin and Kamri)

If you brought one dollar you could wear a hat for the American Heart Association. (Zain and Emily)

We had my birthday snack! (Rilen)

Tomorrow is all about keeping our hearts healthy by moving our bodies! The kids are encouraged to wear their exercise clothes!!

Thursday is the Valentine’s party! Parents (no siblings please) are welcome to join the fun from 2:30-3 pm. Thanks!
