Hi Parents!

Here is what we did today!

We did math. We had to figure out how many more we needed to get to 10. We rolled the number dice. (Caroline)

We got the chick eggs today! (Evalynn)

Chick eggs take 21 days to hatch! (Grayson) Ours should hatch early next week!

Rose is the teacher helper. (Aiden)

We went outside. (Will C.)

We had P.E. We did a game where we put blocks on the pads. We had to knock down the blocks of the other team. We had partners. (Aster and James)

We did Fundations. We learned a rule to help us know when to use “c” and when to use “k”. If the vowel sound is a, o, or u then it has a “c”. K words have e and i. (Azayla and Caroline)

We did poem. It was about chicks. (Adalynn and Abby)

We watched a video at read aloud about living and non-living things. Living things eat, move, grow, need air and water, and make babies. (Parker, James, Hayden, Rose, Aster, Grayson, and Evalynn)

We did days in school. (Will M.)

We did morning meeting. (Kennedy)

We did Monday News. (Adalynn)

For parents attending the field trip on Friday…

The bus will arrive at Mill Creek at 9 am and we will load shortly after. The buses will take us to Tiger Bounce so please plan to meet us  there around 9:15-9:20 am. Our class will be one of the first to go to HyVee so we will walk there together from Tiger Bounce. After our HyVee tour, we will talk together back to Tiger Bounce. We will stay at Tiger Bounce until 12 pm. We will head back to school and have a picnic together outside. Parents are welcome! We will have pizza, fruit, etc. provided by HyVee! Since we will have lunch much later than usual, please encourage your kiddo to eat a big breakfast on Friday!
