Hi Parents!

Here is what we did today!

We went to library. We played a new game. (Will C.)

We went to Makerspace. We did some stuff with Legos! (James)

We did Fundations. We did the letter j and p. (Aster)

We did morning meeting. We had the whiteboards out. (Azayla) Have been writing the date, number of days in school, etc.

We did our poem. (Maya)

We did writing. We worked on a surprise for moms and dads. (Evalynn)

We read The Gingerbread Girl. (Abby)

We had Daily 5. (Rylan)

We did a project about our favorite book. We circled if we liked The Gingerbread Man or The Gingerbread Girl. We drew our favorite part. (Caroline)

We are having snack. (Hayden)

On Thursday morning, we will make a large gingerbread cookie as a class. Thank you so much if you have signed up to help with items! Please send in these items tomorrow or Thursday morning. I added one more item to the Google Doc if anyone still wants to help out! Google Doc sign up here!

We are going to be learning about the holiday traditions of families in our class!  Take a moment to talk with your child about the holidays you celebrate and the traditions your family has each year.  We'd love to hear what special traditions your family has at this time of year!  With your child, send our class an e-mail about the things your family does each year.  We will use these e-mails to spark conversations about different holiday customs our families have.  It would also be wonderful if you include a picture or two! Please send this email by Monday. December 17^th!
