Hi Parents!

Here is what we did today!

We did library. We played on the computers and got a new book. Friday will be our last day to check out books. (Isaac) Due to MAP Testing, classes will not be coming to the library or checking out books beginning on Monday, April 16th and lasting through Friday, May 4th. Media classes will be in the MakerSpace Room with Mrs. Imhoff. If students need to renew books or return them to get new ones, they must come by during Open Check-out each morning, which goes from 8:00-8:20. Due to the last day of school on May 22, the last day a student will be able to check out a book will be Friday, May 4th. After that time, they will only be able to return books as we will be working on getting all library materials returned by May 11th . While they are MAP Testing the doors to the Media Center will be closed. Please let me know if you have questions.

We did math. We used play-doh and the balance scale. We had a partner. We tried to make it equal. We used things from our supply box. When it goes down it is heavy and when it goes up it is light. (Dempsey and Ismael)

We did read aloud. We read a book about space. (Britt)

We did Fundations. We wrote W and X on our Fundations whiteboards. We tapped out some words. Mrs. Hotchkiss pulled name sticks and that kid would come up and she would whisper them a word. They would tap it to themselves and then build it. The other kids would tap it and raise their hands. (Maclyn)

We did Daily 5. (Blake)

We are doing closing meeting and snack. (Xander)

We did our poem. It was called In the Sky. (Brooklynn)

We did the calendar. (Ismael)

We did writing. We wrote Monday News. (Emma)

Tomorrow is Hat Day!

It is an early release day on Wednesday! Students will be dismissed at 12:50 pm. If you are picking up your child, I would suggest trying to get here by 12:45 pm! If your student will be going home a different way on Wednesday please let me know on Wednesday morning!
