Hi Parents!

Here is what we did today!

At morning meeting, we used a whiteboard, rag, and marker. We wrote an addition number sentence. We wrote the word cloudy. (Sky)

We did Fundations. We wrote W and X. (Britt)

We did P.E. We had to run when the music beeped. It was called the pacer. We ran from line to line. We played a game. Coach Allen set out toys in the middle of the court. You had to crawl like a crab to get it and bring it to your hula hoop. On the 2nd round you had to crawl like a bear. (Dempsey and Brooklynn)

We did math. We used these jars. We knew there was 10 in one. We had to do a smart guess on how many were in the other one. It was 20. We estimated. (Wilson)

We did the poem. It was called In the Sky. We made a list of things we see in the sky during the day and night. (Russell)

We did writing. We made a list of things we need for our how to books. (Isaac)

We did the weather. First it was cloudy and then it was sunny! The temperature was in the blue. It was 37 degrees and now it is in the green. It is 51 degrees. We recorded it on the SmartBoard. (Blake and Ismael)

We did read aloud. We watched a short video about earth and the sun. Mrs. Hotchkiss read us a book called The Earth. Whenever the earth is facing the sun we have day time. (Brooklynn)

Tomorrow is early out. (Dempsey) Students will be dismissed at 12:50 pm! Lunch will be at 10 am and will be shortened.
