Hi Parents!

Here is what we did today!

We did P.E. We did basketball and other stations. (Isaac)

We did writing. For writing today we wrote stories about when we were little. Mrs. Hotchkiss read us a book called When I was Little. (Maclyn)

We did Fundations. We wrote the letters E and F. (Russell)

We are doing closing meeting and snack. (Ismael)

We did math. We played a game called Guess My Rule. Mrs. Hotchkiss would pick a sorting rule. She would call on kids that had something the same. We would raise our hands and try to guess the rule. (AJ, Carmel Grace, and Dempsey)

We did read aloud. We read book called The Pledge of Allegiance. We got a paper book called The Pledge of Allegiance. (Brooklynn)

We did the weather. (Joshua)

We did the poem. It was called American Flag. We tried to find the rhyming pair. We clapped syllables. (Britt and Dempsey)

We did lunch and recess. (Blake)

We made an American Flag out of paper and paint. – Dempsey
We listened to Storyline Online and the book was called “Carla’s Sandwich” – Joshua
We wrote about our favorite American symbol – Isaac
We had a read aloud and Mrs. Vizcarra read American Flag books. – Maclyn
We did a short “Daily 5” – Ismael
We did closing meeting and snack. – Xander

March 19th- March 23rd

mARCH 19 – dRESS LIKE YOUR TEACHER DAY-You may dress as your favorite teacher today.
mARCH 20- cOMFY cLOTHES dAY-Wear your most comfortable clothing. (PJs or work out clothes are fine.)
mARCH 21- cRAZY HAIR DAY-Be creative with your hair, but remember that what you do to your hair must me worn all day. 
mARCH 22 -dRESS AS YOUR FAVORITE ANIMAL DAY
mARCH 24-dISNEY dAY-Let your inner Disney out for the day. 

All items worn must be school appropriate (no masks or face paint) and must be worn for the entire day.
