Hi Parents!
Here is what we did today!
We
had art. We learned about Leonardo Da Vinci. We could make inventions or free
draw. We had Mrs. Cockrell as our substitute. (Elizabeth)
We
did a cloud project. We used a blue piece of paper. We used 3 cotton balls to
make it look like shapes in the clouds. (Yahna)
We
did Daily 5 and we got to do 2 choices. (Brendan)
We
did math. We did a memory game. (Brynn)
We
had writing. For writing we did the 3rd page of our weather book. It was mostly
cloudy with some wind and rain. (Sophia)
For
read aloud we read It Looked Like Spilt Milk. It was about clouds. It
was funny. (Abigail)
We
talked about clouds on the Smartboard and looked at pictures. We had to guess
what type of cloud it was. We learned about Cirrus clouds, Cumulus clouds,
Stratus clouds, and Cumulonimbus clouds. (Sophia, Addison, Anders, and
Elizabeth)
Cumulonimbus
ones are storm clouds. Some do tornados and thunderstorms. (Landon)
The
Cirrus cloud is very thin and up high. (Yahna)
We
did Fundations. We did our word family. We did words that end in –ap. The
picture was of a map. There were a lot of words that we said! (Maggie)
