Miss
Miller read a book called The Mitten. We acted it out. (Brooke and

We
used a mitten and we put the animals in the mitten to tell the story. (Livi)

did Fundations. We made a list of word that ended in the –in sounds. (Aidin)
We
wrote some word wall words on cards. We will read word wall words from our book
boxes when it is Daily 5. At Daily 5, when it is Read to Self or Read to
Someone we can play My pile, Your pile, Our pile or you can just read them to
yourself. (Rilen, Emily, Lexie T.)
We
wrote things that are the same and things that are different for hedgehogs and
porcupines. We did this because we couldn’t tell if it was a hedgehog or
porcupine in The Mitten. (Kamri)
We
did tapping. (Zain)
On
the Fundations boards we wrote Q and R. (Cordae)
