Here is what we did today!

We went to library. (Brock)

We got a special Writing Folder. (Rilen)

We wrote a story about our lives in our Writing Folder. (Tristan)

We did morning meeting and morning buzz. (Pritish)

We read to a partner. (Anna)

We had 2 recesses. (Emily)

Miss Glenn did the poem with us. (Adeline) One of our MU Early Childhood Education Phase II student teachers.

We read a counting book. (Cordae) We are beginning our counting unit!

We did the Fundations cards. (Randy)

We learned how to sit EEKK. (Blair) Your child will be excited to explain this to you! This is how we sit during Read to Someone! (Shhh don’t tell them I told you…it means Elbow, Elbow, Knee, Knee).

We get to make a counting book. (Livi)

We learned how to find a partner for Read to Someone. We did stand up, hand up, pair up. (Kate)

Announcements!

Tomorrow is Walk to School Day! Come celebrate with us! We will be meeting at the Boone County National Bank parking lot at 7:30 am. Hope to see you there!

Tomorrow is also our Flu Shot/Spray clinic in the morning for those who returned their pink flu forms.
