Here is what we did today!

We worked on a surprise. (Jackson)

We did closing meeting. (George)

We did the schedule. (Leo)

We did a wants and needs sort. (Caleb)

For math we counted in line and put ourselves in order. (Presley)

We did math workstations. (Jesse)

We did Fundations. We tapped words. (Logan)

We read a Pigeon book. It is Don’t Let the Pigeon Drive the Bus. (Ellen)

We did a word family. They all had -at. (Cora)

We did the calendar. (Avie)

We had music. (Sarah)

We did writing. (Evie)

We did Daily 5. We made 2 choices. It was something different than yesterday. (George)

We did morning buzz. We shared about wants. (Presley)

We are going to be learning about the holiday traditions of families in our class!  Take a moment to talk with your child about the holidays you celebrate and the traditions your family has each year.  We'd love to hear what special traditions your family has at this time of year!  With your child, send our class an e-mail about the things your family does each year.  We will use these e-mails to spark conversations about different holiday customs our families have.  It would also be wonderful if you include a picture or two! Please send this email by Monday. December 16th!
