Hi Parents!

Here is what we did today!

We went to Makerspace. We got to build Legos. (Stella)

We went to library. (Abby)

We did inside recess. (Azayla)

We had morning meeting. (Kent)

We did writing. We wrote about what we did over the weekend. (Hayden)

We did math. We played 10 in a circle. All the cubes are black except one red. When you say 10 you try not to land on red. (Aster)

We did the poem. Our word of the week is “go”. (Maya)

We did Fundations. Our new letters are d and s. (Evalynn)

We did a GoNoodle. (James)

We read a book and talked about food groups. (Will C.)

We did a short Daily 5. (Parker)

We are doing closing meeting. (Grayson)

We did morning buzz. (Adalynn)

Attached is an Everyday Math parent online resource document that might be helpful! There are some great math games your student can access through this site! The CPS student portal has many additional resources/games that are fun to do at home as well!

On Wednesday, we will be making a friendship fruit salad to celebrate learning about the fruit group! Please have your child bring in one piece of fruit to add to the fruit salad! Please make sure they are washed beforehand! Please send fruits like apples, oranges, pears, kiwi, watermelon, etc. cut into slices or pieces. A small package of berries, bananas, grapes, etc. can be sent in whole. Thank you!!
