Here is what we did today!

We read The Gingerbread Girl. (Lexi and Addison)

For writing we wrote about our favorite part of the gingerbread books. We had to pick from The Gingerbread Girl and The Gingerbread Man. (Mila)

We went to our assembly. It was a singing assembly. (Sophia)

We switched table spots. (Elizabeth)

We did the schedule. (Nick)

We did Daily 5. (Evie and Elizabeth)

We did math. We played a gingerbread game called Roll and Cover. (Addison)

We did the letter h in Fundations. (Andy)

If you finished your gingerbread writing you could write in your writing folder. (Abigail)

We had library. We did ST math on the computers. We picked out our books. (Anders)

We did closing meeting. (Sophia)

We had 1 recess. (Kiernan)

We had calendar. (Brendan)

We did the Days in School. (Andy and Brynn)

We had morning buzz. We talked about our favorite holiday song. (Mila)

We are going to be learning about the holiday traditions of families in our class!  Take a moment to talk with your child about the holidays you celebrate and the traditions your family has each year.  We'd love to hear what special traditions your family has at this time of year!  With your child, send our class an e-mail about the things your family does each year.  We will use these e-mails to spark conversations about different holiday customs our families have.  It would also be wonderful if you include a picture or two!
