Hi Parents!

Here is what we did today!

We did math. We played a candy game. They looked like round chocolates and square chocolates. We could color them. We did story problems. They were fun! (Hayden)

We did mats. We wrote compliments on other people’s mats. (Caroline) We will finish these tomorrow. I will laminate them before sending them home! They are very cute!

We had P.E. We did stations. We had to pass the big ball. One station was called Money in the Bank. You stand on the money and you try to shoot it in the hoop. (Will M., Abby, and Rylan)

We did Daily 5. (James)

We did snack. (Xander)

We did a GoNoodle. (Will C.)

We did read aloud. We read Enemy Pie. (Adalynn)

We did our classroom rules. (Maya)

We made a project with Enemy Pie. It was a Friendship Pie! (Evalynn)

Emma came to read to us. (Abby)

We did poem. It was a Valentine’s poem. It was called Valentine’s For You. Our word of the week is “you”. (Caroline)

I was the teacher assistant. (Aster)

We played word games. We did the roller coaster game. We chopped words. We did words that rhyme with sack. (Caroline)

We put the temperature on the thermometer. (Maya)

We did the schedule. (Rose)

Sorry about the muddy shoes! The sun came out so we had to get outside at the end of the day!

Here is what we did today!

We went to Media. (Abby)

We did inside recess. (Xander)

We had project. We made a little Love Monster. We glued pieces on it. We could make it into a headband if we wanted. (Aster and Adalynn)

We had play time. (Azayla)

We did math. We played Top-It with dot cards. If you get the bigger number, you take the cards. If we get an equal, you play again on top of it and the person with the bigger number gets all the cards. (Hayden)

We had Fundations. Our letters were I and J. (Will M.)

We did writing. We did Monday News. (James)

We read the book Love Monster for read aloud. (Evalynn)

We did poem. For poem it had groups of 10. It was about Valentine’s Day. We learned the trick word “you”. (Caroline)

We did the days of school. Today is 106. (Maya)

We tapped words in Fundations. We build words. We did a word family. (Caroline)

We did math workstations. (Parker)

My sister came to read to us. (Abby)

Azayla was the teacher assistant. (Aster)

I am attaching the Valentine’s class list if you need it! We will pass out valentines on Thursday morning! You are welcome to attend the party at 2:20 pm on Thursday if you would like to come!

Here is what we did today!

We did math. We got a board where we wrote numbers to 20. We got a deck of cards to 10 and we played Top-It. (Hayden)

We got 100 Cougar Tickets and we got to go to computer lab today and we got to play ABCya and Starfall. (Aster)

In the computer lab we got to play JiJi. (Azayla) This is a great math program you can get to from the CPS Portal called ST Math!

We did word games. We did the roller coaster game. We said some words that rhymed with flag. (Caroline)

We went to P.E. and we played a game. I won! (Maya)
