Here is what we
did today!
We read a book called When Will It Be Spring? (Daniel)
We had writing. We wrote about our Spring
Break. (John)
We read a book called What is the Weather? (Claire) This
week in science, we are starting our weather unit! We will be talking about
clouds, precipitation, and wind! We will also record the weather.
Mrs. Hotchkiss showed us a picture of a
GIANT sweet potato for writing. (Ella Murray) For Monday News, I always
model a story about something that I did. I wrote a story about going to the
farmer’s market and buying a 3.5 lb sweet potato! I showed the kids the picture
I took…they got a big kick out of it!
We had P.E. (Ella McClary)
We learned chunks in Fundations. (Ishaan)
We
started talking about digraphs in Fundations (ch, sh, th, wh, -ck). We talked
about how a chunk or a digraph is two consonants put together that make one
sound.

and an order form for fall school supplies.
I have changed
